Well Intervention and Production Enhancement

XXXXXXProject description
A well intervention program was carried out on three producing wells in a mature onshore field in Peru. The primary objective was to restore production rates that had declined due to near-wellbore damage, scale buildup, and partial completion inefficiencies. The scope included coiled tubing cleanouts, chemical stimulation treatments, and selective re-perforation of underperforming intervals using wireline-conveyed perforating guns. Downhole diagnostics, including production logging and pressure transient analysis, were conducted to identify contributing zones and guide treatment design. Post-intervention, the combined production from the three wells increased by approximately 40%, with one well exceeding pre-decline baseline rates. The program was executed with zero lost-time incidents and completed within the planned 21-day operational window.
